Thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, checks totaling $5,893.27 were presented to the Samaritan Center to help low-income families in central Missouri pay their utility bills this winter and to help replenish the food pantry.  In addition, almost 1,000 pounds of food were collected that night.

The Eagles served chili to 621 people at the fundraiser on October 18, 2011.
